Toolmex Launches Quantum Milling Cutters and New User-Centric Website
NATICK, MA (November 3, 2008) - Toolmex, a leading designer and distributor of productivity performing tooling today announced the introduction of Quantum™ Milling Cutters and the re-launch of Toolmex.com. Quantum Indexable double-sided inserts have more cutting edges and advanced geometries for greater performance than existing products and are available for immediate delivery. Quantum Cutters, marketed under the TMX® brand, are produced with a unique insert cutting edge geometry, pressed on opposing sides, that integrates into a tilted dovetail pocket to form a rigid clamping bond with the mill. The unique double-sided inserts come with four to sixteen cutting edges to enable extended utility out of single piece of carbide. The combination of design elements provides low cutting forces for smoothers cuts and longer tool and machine life with steel, stainless steel, cast iron and aluminum.

The QM8 offers eight 45° right-handed edges, molded-in wiper geometry and tilted dovetail pocket. The QM16 has sixteen cutting edges and wiper inserts giving customers the lowest cost per edge in the industry.
